Octagon MCP Server

This is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server implementation that integrates with the Octagon API, providing investment research capabilities.

Features

It offers specialized AI agents for investment research in public and private markets, SEC filings analysis, earnings call transcript analysis, financial metrics and ratios analysis, stock market data access, private company research, and web scraping. It also supports funding rounds, venture capital research, M&A, IPO transaction research, streaming for real-time responses, and a simple interface with a single "prompt" parameter for all tools.

Getting an API Key

To use Octagon MCP, sign up for a free account at Octagon, navigate to Settings ⌘†’ API Keys, generate a new API key, and use it in your configuration as the OCTAGON_API_KEY value.

Installation

Installation instructions are provided for running with npx, manual installation via npm, and configuration for Cursor, Claude Desktop, and Windsurf.
